Council Operations & JTE
Under Stuart's leadership, the Shenandoah Area Council has not only operated efficiently, but has continued to improve and have effective communications with its supporters.
Operations:
The administrative review team found 194 non-compliance issues with Council governance and by the end of Stuart's first year all issues had been corrected and brought in to full compliance. Stuart continues to show care and concern for getting it right. As of December 2018, the Council is ranked seventh in the southern region for Youth Protection Training, 4th in Trained Leaders, and 2nd in Endowment Development and will once again have a high performing JTE score of Silver.
Annual Reports:
The Council should continuously provide an overview to its owners, the volunteers, and other stakeholders with correct and relevant information to help increase the understanding of the company and its position and needs. Samples of Reports:
Journey to Excellence:
The Council has shown continued success in Journey to Excellence with consecutive years as Gold or Silver despite numerous media and political challenges. The Council continues to show being balanced and high performing thanks to Stuart's guidance and attention to detail across all 18 measurements.
